Video: Friday July 30, 2010 EJami Scenes

Where to even begin with this five minute clip? Basically–it’s simply splendid in every way. Pure romance, pure adoration, and pure sweetness. The set up with the fishing pole and fishing cap may have seemed silly at first, but it was truly adorable. Sami is so caught off guard by the situation and it really shows. The first class fish comment was an adorable little aspect to that whole scene. And then she reels in the ring and the moment shifts quickly and beautifully and when EJ begins to kneel, we all gasped right along with Sami. What comes next can’t be put into words. The proposal is magnificent.

Enjoy :)

Oh holy holy. This episode will go down in the books of EJami history as having one some the sweetest and heart wrenching dialogue there ever was. This is EJ’s warm up proposal and we don’t understand how Samanther couldn’t just fall into his arms and accept him right then and there. Clearly, EJ is going to have to work for it and that is just fine with this particular rogue. If I get to hear more dialogue like this, then I can deal!

We had to cut out Sami’s scenes with Caroline to get the video under 10 minutes.

And just because we love this moment so much, we clipped just the proposal, so you can watch it as many times as you want!

This Day in EJami – July 30, 2007 – “the last face you’re gonna see is gonna be mine”

Now usually, when a man as handsome and as sexy as EJ DiMera is saying this to you, it could be all sorts of twitterpating.  Strangely enough, even if EJ is threatening his dad, it still is.

EJ joined the Bradys and Lucas in their desperate search to save Samantha from Stefano’s clutches – because performing a stem cell operation in the skies was so plausible. But hey, at least they had different sets then.  EJ pleads with his father to let Samantha go. He starts pleading yet ends menacing and seeing a ferocious papa lion protecting his pride was just flutter inducing.

E.J.: Look, Father, I am begging you. Whatever you think of me or Samantha, she’s carrying your grandchildren — all right? — Your flesh and blood.

Stefano: Yes. The spawn of a treacherous son. I am aware of that. [Sighs] Why, Bart, do my children always betray me?

E.J.: Betray you, Father? I would never betray you. You know why? Because you raised me and you loved me and you protected me for my whole life. You never let anyone or anything ever hurt me, and that’s what I’m gonna do for my children. I’m gonna protect them at all costs. Surely you can understand that. I know that you’re afraid of dying, but these children are your heirs — the reason that you built your empire, the future DiMeras that you wanted to protect so much. Why now do you want to sacrifice them? Why?

Stefano: Because I am not ready to die.

E.J.: Father, please.

Stefano: Because if they are anything like their father, they certainly will not be true DiMeras. Do you understand what I am saying to you? Which means that they can’t be my grandchildren.

E.J.: Oh, I understand you. Now you understand me. You’re afraid of dying. You harm Samantha or those children and you won’t see out the week. Do you hear me? And don’t even worry about Lucas or Roman, because the last face you’re gonna see is gonna be mine. I guarantee it.

Protector EJ is a sight to behold. Enjoy!

Guest Post: Confessions From An EJami Fan

Rogue HQ had the pleasure of hearing from a familiar friend and got her take on recent EJami scenes and the two proposals!

Many EJami fans know her as scarlett1977 on the Internet, we know her as Jen. We’re happy to have her guest post about this huge moment in EJami’s story. Enjoy!

Confession time. I haven’t given up on Ejami, but lately, I have found myself losing interest. Maybe I’m bummed that the Salem Community Cell Phone (SCCP) has been retired. Maybe ::gasp:: I miss Lucas. Ever since his lifts tapped their way out of Salem, my life hasn’t been the same. Who can I make fun of now? Rafe? Not worth the effort. Midol product placements? Like shooting fish in a barrel. Where’s the challenge in that? Anyway, after months of little desire to watch the show, finally with this week came a glimmer of hope – a proposal. Two of them actually.

So tonight, I sat down to watch the two episodes back to back promising myself not to get my hopes up and I was pleasantly surprised. I was sucked in immediately by EJ’s “If I ask you to marry me, Samantha. You will know. There will be no mistake that I’m proposing – when the day comes.”

Give me a moment while I reminisce a bit. Proposal number one…

“Everything will be perfect. I will wait until the time is right. The place is right. I’ll take your hand, and look you in your eye. And I’ll kneel in front of you. And I’ll look up at you and I’ll have this thought that will run straight through my head – about how I am kneeling in front of my past. And how if you’ll have me, I will rise to greet my future and I will tell you how much I love you. How much I’ve always loved you and how I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Ah….good stuff, good stuff.

And then I watched today’s episode and the buzz I had going from yesterday was doused a little bit. Was EJ suddenly possessed by the ghost of Shawn Brady? Did he dust himself off in that forest where John and Marlena left him after the big wham bam in the woods after the plane crash (Seriously people. The old man’s body was five feet from you and you got it on. What is wrong with you? You even knew he was dead because the second he dropped in the aisle you fought for his oxygen mask.) and put that hat on EJ’s head? Seriously!

But they quickly sucked me in again…

“I love you. I’ve always loved you Samantha. I could spend a lifetime on my knee down here in front of you and never fully describe to you the place that you hold in my heart. I want to spend the rest of my life loving you. And loving our children and being a family in the proper sense of the word. So I am asking you please to let me love you. Will you marry me?”

And then I got it. Well I kind of got it. This is exactly the kind of stuff that endeared people to couples like Jack and Jennifer back in the day. Sure, Jack never kidnapped their child and told Jennifer she was dead…but tomato, tomahto. ;) The point is we are on the road to our couple, people. It’s a long damn road and I am getting pretty effing tired, but I am pumped. We have two actors who knocked it out of the park this week. I haven’t had a fuzzy this warm since EJ locked Twinkletoes in that freezer truck. Good times, good times.

Jen (scarlett1977)

If Jen’s words didn’t make you want to fight for EJami and make it happen, then you must be dead inside! This is it people, and it’s time to let TPTB know how much you are loving these scenes and how much they mean to you.

Thanks Jen for the inspiring guest post!

Video: Wednesday July 28, 2010 EJami Scenes

EJami’s scenes in this episode are all centered around Johnny. He’s such a cutie and little bit ornery. He’s all over the map with his feelings, much like his lovely mother! But the meat of this episode happens after EJ helps smooth things over between Johnny and Sami. She says to him, “you amaze me sometimes, EJ.” And EJ replies very lovingly, “You amaze me, all the time.” SWOON! EJ’s love is so unwavering right now and while there may be chaos all around them and a big secret hanging over his head, if you can just step away from that crap and look at the core of these two and how they are around each other, you can’t help but smile and feel a little flutter in your chest. The big cliffhanger of the episode is that EJ has a slip of the tongue when they discuss Johnny’s recent bouts of acting out. He mentions that it shouldn’t be a problem once they’re married. Sami is shocked and asks him if she heard him right.

Enjoy!

SOW: That Fabulous Baker Boy

Please link back to Rogue Ejami: http://rogue-ejami.com

In the middle of all her woes with Brady, Nicole rushes to Dr. Baker’s rescue (because it saves her own behind), when he needs bail money. “Whether you can see it or not, Nicole has developed a special fondness for Dr. B, says AZ, noting that it’s all happened off camera (phew! Thanks for that clarification – because never saw it on the actual show) he’s done so much for her, and she gets him. There’s a part of her that wishes they could be buddies. I mean, the guy does everything Nicole asks him to. How could she not (use) like him? ;)

Poor Dr. B – foiled again.
