The Architect
Viewing history: Peter and Jennifer drew me in
Hiatus: I’ve had a few over the years. Stan pushed me over the edge.
Favorite story: Santo and Colleen and the “vendetta” of 2007.
Favorite Days character: Sami Brady. It didn’t always used to be that way, but over time I grew to love her so much, and that’s what made me an EJami fan. Finally there was a guy that was her perfect match.
Least favorite Days character: Melanie
Unusual obsession: The lighting on the show. My eyes!
Likes: Architecting things, baking things, making fun of things, loving things
Dislikes: Bad lighting and bad accents (which is odd since I love Santo and Colleen)
The Chemist
Viewing history: Off and on since Carly was buried alive.
Favorite story: Tony’s return to Salem when he showed up at the Penthouse Grill, EJ coming to Salem, old school Brady and Chloe, the Belle/Shawn/Mimi/Chloe/Philip/Rex/etc teen years, and pretty much anything with EJ and Sami, together I mean.
Least favorite story: With very few exceptions, everything since mid 2008. Is it bad that I was longing for the days of the Gemini twins and JER camp?
Favorite character: Stefano, EJ, and badass Sami.
Least favorite character: All of them when they were under Dena Higley’s pen and not acting like themselves….and Rafe.
Likes: Thunderstorms, reading, cooking, and chocolate.
Dislikes: People screwing up my show, raw chicken, cleaning, and tomatoes.
The Extractor
Viewing history: Since the first time Vivian locked someone in a coffin
Hiatus: Virtual Garden of Eden. Austin Peck in leafy skivvies? No thanks
Favorite story: Maison Blanche/Princess Gina ‘94
Favorite Days character: A tossup between Stefano DiMera and vintage Vivian Alamain
Least favorite Days character: Roman Brady
Likes: Inertia, funny people, cute boys
Dislikes: Days storylines since June 2008, smugness, touching raw meat
The Forger
Viewing history: Kim/Shane, Justin/Adrienne, Jack/Jenn, EJ/Sami, Kate/Stefano
Hiatus: a stint in the 90’s when television wasn’t available in solitary
Favorite story: Cruise of Deception and the Prisms
Favorite character: Stefano DiMera
Least Favorite character: Bonnie Lockhart – WTF, she’s Adrienne!
Likes: appearing disorganized
Dislikes: being disorganized
The Point Man
Viewing history: Since Tony & Renee, Bo & Hope days.
Hiatus: I loves me some melodrama, but when they pulled the ultimate “gotcha!” and Salem Serial Killer victims were alive on Melaswen, I decided I needed a breather. Virtual Garden of Eden confirmed that I made the right choice to stop watching. Ejami brought me back to full time viewing.
Favorite story: It’s kind of a tie between the original baby switch to end all baby switches (and which brought us our fave boy Elvis Jr.), and Aremid. When you’ve got a lady running around in a doily, or woman a few fries short of a happy meal and bad fake teeth PLUS Stefano in an Elvis suit? now that’s a party.
Favorite Days character: Sami, in all her ridiculously insecure and crazy glory. Though Kristen gave her a run for her money back in the day.
Least Favorite Days character: Taylor (buh-bye, don’t let the door hit ya on the way out)
Unusual obsession: Cheese. In my food and in my entertainment.
Likes: a good old fashioned romance novel on a rainy day. Plus your usual assortment of dairy products (see unusual obsession).
Dislikes: Lactose intolerance.
The Professor
Viewing history: I am a DOOL fan of long standing. My first couple love went to Doug & Julie. Watching DOOL was handed down through my mother. When other soaps let me down, DOOL always had characters I loved and loved to watch. I’m a bit opinionated in my views on the show but mostly I just want the show to live on. Factoids and other minutiae are my thing. Humor is also a big plus with me. Sarcasm has been known to slip past my lips with hardly a thought. But I’m all about fun and enjoying my favorite daytime show-Days of Our Lives. Please feel free to enjoy it with me and the other Rogues here.
Favorite story: EJ Comes Home to Salem. Second favorite Princess Gina storyline.
Least favorite story: Alex North pops up as Marlena unknown husband.
Favorite Days character: EJ DiMera and Night Sins-the party to celebrate Titan’s return to Salem.
Least favorite Days character: Nicole Walker
Unusual obsession: Collecting anything pertaining to my current interest. I am compelled to know all about whatever has caught my eye. I also obsess a bit over germs.
Likes: Rain, strong coffee, books, music and animals-hopefully very soon Days 2.0. And being nerdy and weird-yes I like that about myself.
Dislikes: Fish, cheesy reality television, corrupt business/world leaders and general inhumanity that is rampant everywhere.
The Shade
Viewing history: Well, I started watching in about 1982, when the Salem Strangler storyline was on (age 8) …but I haven’t watched since August 2010. Can you blame me?
Hiatus: Any scenes with EJ/Nicole and Sami/Rafe and really anything since last year…Clearly I’m a huge Days fan.
Favorite story: A tie between EJ/Sami and Shane/Kim from back in the day.
Favorite Days character: EJ….and Sami when she’s in scenes with him and isn’t a bitch.
Least favorite Days character: Rafe/Nicole/Lucas…are you sensing a trend? Oh…and Alex North. He sucked big time!
Unusual obsession: Bad acting…hence hating certain “characters”
Likes: Traveling, baking, reading, playing words with friends and losing but winning hanging with friends…and Ryan Gosling.
Dislikes: Negativity and when people like stupid stuff. Also anything that Dena Higley is involved with. She probably can’t write a restaurant menu.
